Product Introduction
PE-Xa is a kind of peroxide polyethylene, its English name is peroxide cross-linked polyethylene. It is the abbreviation of so-called peroxide cross-linked polyethylene pipes. Its a kind of cross-linked forming pipes extruded by plunger extruder, with high-density polyethylene as its main raw material and organic peroxide as cross-linking agent. According to many data experiments made by various research agents, PE-Xa pipes have good performance in heat resistance, with a creep-resistance period of 100 years. Because during PE-XA pipes being processed, further chemical cross linking makes polymer molecule chains form covalence, and then form uniform network structure, which significantly improve the physical and chemical properties of ordinary PE-Xa pipes. The temperature of medium conveyed by this kind of pipe can reach 95 ℃, and 110 ℃ in a short time, which means that it’s very suitable for kinds of high-temperature fluid transportation. Therefore, PE-Xa pipes, as heat conducting pipes for low-temperature hot water ground radiant heating system, has a strict scientific basis.
Product Performance and Characteristics
PE-Xa pipe’s raw materials and accessories mainly include HDPE special materials, cross-linking agent, antioxidant and auxiliary antioxidant, with a proportion of 99% HDPE, 1% hyper-oxide as well as main and auxiliary antioxidant. Its mechanism is, under high temperature and high pressure and with the help of hyper-oxide cross-linking agent, to produce chemical bonds among long molecular chains of HDPE so as to realize chemical cross-linking and form three-dimensional network structure. Because polyethylene molecules are unsaturated bonds, and they change gradually till fracturing by ultraviolet irradiation or oxygen erosion. Therefore, main antioxidant and auxiliary antioxidant must be added to improve their anti-aging properties of light and oxygen. It has excellent resistance to cracking caused by stress, creeping, heating and wearing. It possesses good resistance to low temperature, aging and radiation. It also boasts relatively high resistance to impact strength and tensile strength, excellent electrical insulation performance and resistance to chemical corrosion. The ground heating pipes composed of PEX is one of the best ground heating pipes.
