PE-Xc Cross-linked Polyethylene Pipe



PE-Xc cross-linked polyethylene pipe is produced by Nordic chemical raw materials and cross-linked through irradiation of the electron accelerator. The cross-linking method is physical cross-linking, without chemical cross-linking agent, which is better than chemical cross-linking. Hydrogen atoms split from polyethylene molecules through energy-rich electrons and reactive points have been created at carbon atoms, making interconnected carbon atoms bond together to produce a cross-linked bridge. It has advantages of excellent resistance to heat and coldness like ordinary cross-linked polyethylene pipe, excellent resistance to stress and cracking, long service life, high resistance to creeping and so on. And its cross-linking degree becomes more uniform, its production quality becomes stable, and it has great sanitary performance through electron beam cross-linking technology, thus it can be called a true sense of green and environmental protection pipe. In the process of cross-linking, the electron rays cross through evenly rotating tubes for many times. In this way, a pipe that is uniformly cross-linked along its circumference can be produced. Oxygen-resistance layer (ethylene-ethanol ethylene hetero-kernel molecules multipolymer blocking layer) has been put into the PE-XC cross-linked polyethylene pipe used in HVAC system, enhancing pipe’s ability to prevent oxygen permeation and facilitating the use of floor radiant heating system.

9、In the production process, a special stabilizer (antioxidant) has been added, which enhances the heat-oxidation resistance of the pipe and avoids the embrittlement of the pipe.

12、Because of its relatively small density and low elastic modulus, the noise’s transportation capacity through this kind of pipe is much worse than metal pipe, which means that it has great performance in noise reduction.
13、Because the pipe has a relatively low cross-linking degree and anti-aging stability of heat, it has relatively long service life.
14、With very poor longitudinal shrinkage property, the pressure created by the pipe buried in the whole leveling layer can be fully absorb by the whole leveling layer.
