Silane Cross-linked Aluminum-plastic Composite Pipe (PEX-b/

Product Overview

Saneper PEX-b/AL/PEX-b aluminum-plastic composite pipe is compounded by extrusion method, whose middle layer is butt welding or butt welding aluminum belt, and its internal and external layer is silane cross-linked polyethylene (PEXb) raw materials, with specialized hot melt adhesive adopted among the layers. Because silane is euhedral structure, whose ---och3 atom cluster in three points can participate in the reaction, namely, whose---och3 atom cluster can be connected with the long chain of polyethylene molecules, its reaction product is three-dimensional network structure, which enables that its comprehensive performance of physical mechanical strength is relatively good and the creeping possibility is low. The Si-O-Si molecular bridge exists among polyethylene molecular chain, but not the C---C molecular bridge, thus it’s not susceptible to oxidation and has high thermo-oxidative stability. Because it’s multi-point and three-dimensional cross-linking, its cross-linking density is much higher than that of peroxide cross-linking product (PEXa) under the same cross-linking degree, which greatly enhances its resistance to pressure in high temperature.

Product Performance

Saneper silane cross-linked polyethylene PEX-B/AL/PEX-B aluminum-plastic composite pipe implements GB/T18997-1-2002 and GB/T18997-2-2002 national standards. Its long-term working temperature is 95 ℃, long-term maximum working pressure is 1.25MPa, and blasting pressure is 6-9MPa. Its resistance to heat enables that it will not be deformed or sticky and has small shrinking rate under 200 ℃. In 70 ℃, its shrinking rate is around 0.1%. What’s more, it has passed hydrostatic test in 110 ℃ with ring stress of 2.5MPa and 8760h. According to deduction of the ISO/DIS9080 standard (National Standard GB/T 18252-2000), its service life is up to 50 years.
